Description

This 9-litre Red Watering Can from the Danish company PLINT features a classic English design and is crafted from high-quality galvanized iron plates. Unlike many other metals, the iron used in this watering can is significantly thicker, and the welded seams are very stable. After manufacturing, the watering can undergoes a 460 °C immersion in zinc alloy, resulting in an exceptionally durable surface that ensures a long service life.

In addition to its exceptional quality, this watering can features a classic English shape with two handles for easy pouring. It also has a high-quality brass showerhead, a sturdy seal, and a powder-coated finish. The can is red and holds 9 liters, with dimensions of 11/16 inch in height (from the top of the handle), 10 inches in diameter, and 23.5 inches in width. It is also hand-welded and made in Slovakia.

From the Manufacturer

Our watering cans are produced to last for many years. They are made in thicker iron plates than usual, with stronger welds and a rough finish. When the watering cans are finished, they are hot galvanized. They are immersed in a zinc alloy at 460 degrees.  The zinc adheres to the iron in the form of a thick syrup. When the jug comes up again, it hangs and drips for 20 minutes. This is the most effective way to prevent iron from rusting.  The jugs to be colored are then hung on hooks and run through a powder coating tunnel, where the paint adheres to the hot-dip galvanized zinc layer.  This is where the jugs acquire the characteristic surface that resembles paint that has been applied too much. However, it is the thick, uneven zinc layer that emerges.  The jugs that do not get painted, the ones that keep the zinc color, start a slow oxidation process.
